Shopping and Investing in Aspen Real Estate Will Delight You Much

Aspen offers a perfect shopping experience that itself is an adventure to behold. I lived in California for the past twenty years before I decided to move, spend my golden years and retire to the Colorado mountains. Prior to that, my family and I have been vacationing up here so many times that we decided to look for a home here; my husband is a fishing bum while I love to ski so Aspen perfectly suits our pastimes. Before, we go up to Aspen at least two trips a year. But we have not had enough of Aspen so when my husband retired, we decided to buy that cozy, little home near Glenwood and we shopped around town for decor and furnishings for our new home.

Once we were there I really became a little excited, especially with all of the top designers and legendary fashion brands, from Prada, Gucci, Burberry, and Dannenman-Pure, to J. Crew, Helly Hansen, and Ralph Lauren. Everybody who is anybody, from stars to millionaires go to Aspen to enjoy shopping and staying at its many five-star hotels. The way these shops show off the clothes, shoes, and accessories plus the cool lighting and presentation makes one want to think that they are inside an art gallery other than boutiques.
And talking about art galleries, shopping for art in Aspen is indeed a pleasant experience. I knew Aspen is home to many international fashions houses, but never did it come to my mind about the fine local art community, which I see as more subjective and in the personal level, but with art aficionados coming to Aspen from all over the world, I believe there is the art to satisfy everyone. There is indeed a fine array of eight or nine galleries, especially the Raku pottery at Lane's, which is so nice, as well as other gorgeous stores that sell collector pieces that folks will surely like and afford.

I am personally an antique lover and at first impression, I thought glitzy Aspen has no place for a consignment or antique shops, if ever one exists, it must have been expensive, I though. But I was wrong because actually Aspen has really great consignment shops that always offer great deals on second-hand stuffs. Meanwhile antique shops do sell so expensive pieces, but hey, these treasures are worth your money! I am in love with Aspen real estate and I think I will see the years coming ahead spent in this resort town for good.
